INTRODUCING THE 125SX

The Small Hammer with Big Muscle

From our April 2003 newsletter

Back by popular demand and better than ever, the new 125SX (second generation to the 125 that was discontinued in 1993) is a small hammer with big muscle. What makes the new hammer so impressive is that it has all the features of our big models – Energy Recovery Valve, Pressure Regulator, Metro-Silencing – in a
1,000 ft. lb. class hammer.

The 125SX mounts easily to skid steer loaders, loader backhoes, and mini excavators up to 22,000 lbs., and to Tramac’s Standard-Duty Rockbreaking Boom Systems. It is designed for breaking medium rock, concrete, and asphalt. The combination of high energy per blow and low frequency makes this a hard-hitting, high-production hammer.

The 125SX comes with two features unique to Tramac. The Energy Recovery Valve (ERV) recycles rebound energy and adds it to the next blow, resulting in more production for the same energy. The built-in Pressure Regulator maintains correct operating pressure, guaranteeing maximum and constant performance.

The 125SX is protected by a fully enclosed, box-style housing with Tramac Metro-Silencing standard. Ease of maintenance results from its fully hydraulic operating principle – a Tramac signature – where the piston is both raised and driven hydraulically with no gas activation or assistance.
