Bucket Crusher Wins Prestigious Award
FIRST IN THE WORLD, PRIZES FROM THE WORLD
Meccanica Breganze recently announced that its new Bucket Crusher—a revolutionary design already expediting work on building sites all over the world—has won another international design prize.
This most recent award is a true headline-getter. In April, 2007, MB’s bucket crusher won the prestigious Grand Prix of the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva— the first Italian company to do so in the last 20 years. The prize was awarded specifically in recognition of the attachment’s forward-looking design, and the improved production and reduced costs it has already demonstrated in the field. The annual Geneva Exhibition is widely regarded as one of the most important technology competitions due to its international scope and the acknowledged expertise of the jury.
The Grand Prix was presented to Guido Azzolin, an Italian inventor who developed the scoop which can shovel up rubble and reduce it to small pieces, in just one operation. This machine makes a crusher redundant, greatly reducing the costs of clearing ground and making it easier to remove materials from the work site for recycling.
The crushing bucket looks like most other buckets but it contains a crushing system which breaks down the rubble it swallows into pebbles. The award was presented by the president and founder of the Exhibit, Jean-Luc Vincent, at a ceremony attended by 700 industrial representatives from around the world. This award joins other recent prizes garnered by the bucket crusher after product demonstrations in Spain, Croatia, and the United Kingdom. The attachment has also generated intense interest at international trade fairs.
The MB crushing bucket is marketed and sold exclusively in Canada under the name TBC Bucket Crusher.
